Unfortunatley Obama signed #NDAA

 AP news is reporting that President Obama has signed the NDAA while on vacation with family in Hawaii. Apparently, he signed the act even though he held reservations about the indefinite detention of Americans.

One interesting quote from the President...
"My administration will not authorize the indefinite military detention without trial of American citizens," Obama said

While that may be comforting to some... It does not stop future administrations from abusing this law.

If the government has not been able to adjust and or fix the economy by either raising taxes or making budget cuts... then what is left?   Is Currency Devaluation a real possibility ?  What would be alarming is that a devaluation would happen overnight and without a warning. A person might have $10,000 in a bank account on Friday, only to awake Monday to a devaluation meaning that their bank account would reflect the %40 loss in value just like that. Scary times?... Yes!... Time to have real change?... Yes!

Does our government waste tax dollars? Hypocrisy ?

 Ok I've been reading a lot of talk about how much the Occupy Movement has cost cities around the nation, as far as clean up and police cost etc...

This sounds like a familiar argument... however, what should be pointed out is that major banks have cost tax payers billions in damages to the economy.
If you look closely you can find more information on how your government waste tax dollars on a regular basis.  Here are two examples...#2 discusses how Rick Perry's run for the president is costing tax payers over $400k per month in security. Now let's take a look at those numbers

One person running for president Texas -Rick Perry- spends $400k per month of tax payers dollars = $4.8 million for the year on security, flight and other expenses.

1000's protest in Los Angeles to start a discussion on how we can fix problems our government and corporations have created for our country and cost LA $2.3 million in tax dollars. In addition $1.2 million of that $2.3 mil was spent on Police over time... police overtime that was not necessary since the protesters were not rioting nor were they violent... oh by the way remember how much the 2009 Lakers parade cost = $1.7 million.

Tucson AZ SWAT kills Marine in mistaken home raid

 Tucson SWAT raid a home suspected of drug dealing and find a Marine, his wife and 4 year old son. The Marine apparently was surprised by the SWAT team and thought his home was under attack, so he grabbed his AR-15 in order to defend his family and a fire fight began.

On November 15th 2011 The NYPD moved in to destroy the #OccupyNYC #OWS camps. Usually, the journalist and others video taping are allowed to continue taping, however, on this night the NYPD blocked all journalist from the park area and some other specific areas. Hillary says that we want to help them create a democratic society so that they can follow BASIC HUMAN RIGHTS. I found that to be an interesting choice of words. I would like to think we would strive to go beyond just BASIC HUMAN RIGHTS.... This clip illustrates how we in the U.S. are conditioned to feel about protesting. It's ok outside of the U.S., but once it hits home then it is looked down upon and un-American. The right to voice our opinion is what makes America.

Occupy Oakland conflicts with Police

The city of Oakland has asked the Occupy Oakland protestors to break up their camp. Police have apparently been called in to remove the camp and to break the protestors up. The police used riot gear, including flash bang and tear gas to break the crowds up.

One of many issues with the banks

  I once explained to a disconnected friend, that the banks were charging overdraft fees on my account and it was getting out of control. She said that I was not paying good attention to my balance....
To the contrary, I was logging in to my account to check my balance whenever I was planning to use my card. As it turns out... the banks are using a computer program that arranges payments to clear at different times and most of those times the bank is able to over draw the account.
