Did you know... Governments ask Google to take down content...

 You may have heard rumors that the Chinese Government makes regular requests to remove and or block content that Google serves to it's population. You may be surprised to find out that many countries including, the Unites States of America, make the same request to Google as well. Take a look at the Government Requests log for Google's Transparency page....

Now take a look at the request of countries like, China, Russia, Turkey and the U.S. When you click on the country you get a more informative page... like this -

One of the key things to keep an eye on is YouTube block request. China for instance chooses to block YouTube completely from their population.
