Let us all remember what they said about Eqypt....

I wanted to post this clip, so that we can reflect on what Hillary Clinton was saying when Egyptians were in the streets protesting just a few months ago. Listen to 2:30 minutes in.... Hillary says that we want to help them create a democratic society so that they can follow BASIC HUMAN RIGHTS. I found that to be an interesting choice of words. I would like to think we would strive to go beyond just BASIC HUMAN RIGHTS.... This clip illustrates how we in the U.S. are conditioned to feel about protesting. It's ok outside of the U.S., but once it hits home then it is looked down upon and un-American. The right to voice our opinion is what makes America.

Did you know... Governments ask Google to take down content...

 You may have heard rumors that the Chinese Government makes regular requests to remove and or block content that Google serves to it's population. You may be surprised to find out that many countries including, the Unites States of America, make the same request to Google as well. Take a look at the Government Requests log for Google's Transparency page....

Occupy Oakland conflicts with Police

The city of Oakland has asked the Occupy Oakland protestors to break up their camp. Police have apparently been called in to remove the camp and to break the protestors up. The police used riot gear, including flash bang and tear gas to break the crowds up.

One of many issues with the banks

  I once explained to a disconnected friend, that the banks were charging overdraft fees on my account and it was getting out of control. She said that I was not paying good attention to my balance....
To the contrary, I was logging in to my account to check my balance whenever I was planning to use my card. As it turns out... the banks are using a computer program that arranges payments to clear at different times and most of those times the bank is able to over draw the account.

Things we should know #1

People are now protesting their banks by closing their accounts. This of course does not make the bank very happy so, they are now arresting the protester/customers that are attempting to close their accounts.
