Day 3 of #WorldWarWeb #OpMegaupload Anonymous continues the largest and longest cyber war -- #hacktivism

In day 3 of the #WorldWarWeb, #OpMegaupload continues with thousands of DDOS attackers, from all around the world, targeting so many websites it is becoming difficult to keep up with.

IMPORTANT
There are reports that non-Anonymous people were somehow tricked into participating in the DDOS attacks. Apparently, this happened when people began clicking on links without checking them first and then realizing that they had landed on a webpage with some type of programming already installed within the page. This page apparently began to DDOS targeted websites, which made non-participants unwillingly attackers.

I try to check any links that I re-tweet or post prior to postings, however if the site changes after I have linked it I will not be able to know since I am not constantly checking all of the links.

DDOS attacks have been found to be illegal in several countries, including the US and UK.
Below is a Wikiepedia link to information on the Computer Fraud Abuse Act in the US,which has been used to prosecute DDOS attackers.

Don't be to alarmed... In order to be charged you would have to knowingly be participating in the DDOS, so you should be ok if you find yourself falling for this. Just keep an eye out on what you are doing online.
